Winter Games 2026: Smart Mobility and Intelligent Traffic Management
On the occasion of the 2026 Winter Games, an advanced digital system was implemented to coordinate traffic flows, access control, and mobility in high-density areas, with the goal of making travel smoother, more predictable, and more sustainable.
The solution, developed with the contribution of myCicero, is based on an integrated platform that enables centralized management of access authorizations and real-time monitoring of traffic flows. Through digital vehicle passes and advanced control tools, access to limited traffic zones (LTZ) can be regulated, while supporting on-the-ground operational activities.
The division of areas into different access levels allows users and operators to quickly verify requirements and obtain authorizations in just a few steps, contributing to more efficient mobility management and a significant reduction in congestion.
This project demonstrates how technological expertise and digital vision can transform the complexity of major events into concrete, reliable, and scalable solutions.
MaaS4Italy: A project for sustainable mobility in Italy
The MaaS4Italy project, funded by PNRR, aims to integrate various modes of transport such as e-bikes, buses, car sharing and public and private transport through digital brokerage platforms. These platforms, providing a wide range of travel features and alternatives, aim to enable users to plan, book and pay for multiple services according to their needs.
We are proud to be the only MaaS Operator that with its MooneyGo app is involved in all territories under testing (Milan, Rome, Naples, Turin, Florence, Bari, Bolzano, Piemonte, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo, Campania, Puglia).
Citizens participating in this initiative can use our platform to manage their city trips, integrating public transport and services into sharing, with full online payment options and access to special incentives.

MooneyGo, the proprietary app of myCicero, enters the market as an evolution of the original app in January 2023.
